TAKATAKA TREASURE

.
I collect eggshells from Trash cans, dump sites and boiled eggs vendors, crush and use glue to stick this on black cloth surface stretched on ply wood. This is an idea that as conceived after realising that almost every other artist was painting.Painting is traditionally known as the common most form of art. This therefore lives the artist with a saturated market. Am currently exploring other media like black sand for similar production but in the reverse of the former, seeds, seed pods and fish bones for necklace, bracelets and earings production. The venture focusses on recycling of trash hence the name "Takataka",swahili for Trash.
